Little Ala in Cochrane Alberta

Alazha in Cochrane: When Ala was a little kitty she got the nickname of "the Clydesdale." You see I had started a little business called "The One Room Schoolhouse," tutoring homeschool kids and other kids. We had a 500 square foot office that cost $250/month. There were two saddlemakers down the hall and a lawyer at the end of the hall. Alazha absolutely loved to go galloping down the hall and make a huge noise -- the cheap construction of the building allowed for an enormous resonant echo. So the saddle makers called her The Clydesdale. Sometimes she would go down and hand out in their workshop for quite a while but they didn't mind her company.
Alazha loved to sit on my students' math homework. They normally didn't mind because it made it impossible to continue with the math until we moved her again.
Since the space was so enormous I had these wire cube shelves full of books as a room divider. Alazha used to love to climb the wire shelves like a remarkable Spiderman and sit up on the top of the shelves, looking down.
